Product Construction
Alu flashing tape is Aluminum, PET-foil, Pure Alu, complete coating with self- adhesive bitumen adhesive for weather sealing joints and seams. It is continued by bitumen adhesive of increased thickness, laminated onto a film of Aluminum and disposable release sheet, which creates a strong bond with the protected surfaces. The adhesive forms a strong waterproof seal by the simply pressing the tape into place by hand.
Usage
Designed for roof waterproofing, guttering, or water tank tops, sealing joints around skylights, doors or adjoining building surfaces and weather sealing seams in caravans, trucks, tool sheds etc. _Window and door openings (headers, sills,jambs, thresholds, nailing flanges)
